Problem Solving Unleashed

SDR is growing — see the updates + cohort progress

Fresh website updates from SDR bring new community engagement opportunities and cohort testing moves to the next stage.

🧭 How This Newsletter Flows

This newsletter is designed to be clear and scannable.

It’s a snapshot of what SDR is working on and where things are headed — not a full story.

  • Next Step → A clear action or direction to explore (with a few options of how)
  • Quick Recap → Summary of main themes and updates
  • Resources → Links to workshops, videos, or further reading

📅 Timing: These won’t show up all the time — at most once a month, more likely once a quarter — so each issue is worth opening.

Next Step: Pick the flavor of connection that fits you best.

Flavors (your options):

  • Community: Join the Tuesday Live Sessions in the group [link] — a space for humans looking for something to do that’s not perfect, but real and interactive.
  • Polished: Explore the updated website [link] meet my “coworkers” on the Contact page. While you’re exploring, leave a comment on the video Working with Rene — this is my open mic call for testimonials if you’ve worked with me.
  • Project: Preview the Alerts to Answers cohort [link]. It's a 3-minute read that explains the project, the current testing stage and the next step.

Outcome we’re aiming for: You’ll have multiple ways to engage — whether it’s casual community, polished resources, or behind‑the‑scenes projects — all leading to stronger connection with SDR.

Why this matters: Your participation and feedback help SDR grow, while giving you practical tools and a voice in shaping what comes next.

Quick Recap

This season SDR is leaning into both polish and community. The website now offers a resource library alongside a video that gives a real sense of what it’s like to work with me, while the Tuesday Lives in the group have become a way to share the ongoing “leave it” experiment with Kodi — 11 weeks deep on YouTube and now carried out live so I don’t have to train alone. At the same time, the Alerts to Answers cohort is moving into its next stage of testing, pointing toward a program that grows steadily out of lived practice.

Alongside these updates, I’ve taken an honest look at how I present myself online. In trying to connect, I sometimes lead with my flaws so hard that I forget that's not always actually helpful. What’s missing is a space that highlights the successful cases I’ve guided. Odin’s snapshot [link] is the first of many to come as I build a portfolio for the website — a reminder that I am very good at my job, and that promoting learning in public and taking up space also means owning the successes. Together, these shifts mark SDR’s direction toward accessible tools, interactive spaces, and a more balanced representation of the work.

  • Essentialism (Greg McKeown) I’m almost finished reading this book for the third time, and I’ve just handed it to my boyfriend to read next. It has truly changed my life. If there’s only one book you read in 2026, make it Essentialism. It will shift how you see your priorities and your life.
